Crave
to crave (used with object)
1. to long for; want greatly; desire eagerly: to crave sweets; to crave affection.
2. to require; need: a problem craving prompt attention.
3. to ask earnestly for (something)
4. to ask (a person) earnestly for something or to do something.Synonyms:1. yearn for, hunger for.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to Wendy's for lunch today, and couldn't help but to think of how HUNGRY i was. I hadn't eaten since yesturday afternoon, so I was starving.I started to think of how God's word is like food.
I've heard this of this example before, but it became more real in my life today.I thought to myself, "Isn't it true that we crave something when it's good?" You know, that thing that you just CANT wait to eat or drink? I've realized that when we all can COMPREHEND how GOOD our God is, we should be CRAVING his word. And I mean REALLY understand how good He REALLY is. When we don't crave His word, we're not hungry for Him. It's that plain and simple. When things seem to be going great in our lives, is God really something we crave all of the time??
Who's there for us when we have no one?? Who there for us when we HAVE someone?...God the Father. He never leaves/left our side. But how do I get to the point where I "crave" Him? ...
When you finally take the time to realize how much He loves us, where we are. Like a friend or a brother.

Doing unto others....
Luke 6:31
Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.
I've always wondered, even in my middle school days, how this verse can be translated in so many different ways to some people. I know that when I was younger, kids would hit eachother, then the other kid would hit back, stating 'do unto others as you want them to do unto you'.....
but think about it....
If that were the case, then the verse would have said, "Do unto others as they HAVE done unto you." But the whole point of the verse is to do to them what you WANT/WANTED done to/for you.
So when someone does something wrong to you, doing something back to them is neglecting that verse. It's you going by what YOU feel you should do, and not what God asks US to do.
When someone treats you bad, you just treat them good!
...isn't that what we want done to us from them?
Next time a person does something wrong to you, make it more of an excuse for you to do something greater in them and into others!...then watch what happens......test God.

Welcome
I will officially be blogging the things that run through my mind everyday and/or my life! I write in a journal sometimes, but I think it's important for others to know who I am. :]]]
